It's about time, this should have happened long ago, not really sure. why it took them so long, though but the good thing is it's finally happening. Huawei Mate 30 Pro will surely help the Mate 30 Pro in offering an overall good camera experience.
Battery charging and chipset of Huawei Mate 30 Pro
The Mate 30 Pro will come with 25W of wireless charging and 55W of wired charging. Pretty incredible charging speeds but what about the battery capacities, though? Well, the batteries are getting bigger as well. We have actual leaks of the batteries for both the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. Which shows the Mate 30 Pro will have a 4500mAh battery and the Mate 30 will have a 4200mAh battery. That's a 7% and 5% increase compared to last year’s Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20. Plus the new Kirin 990 chipset is more efficient than last year's chipset. So the battery life on the Mate 30 series should be significantly better than the P30 or Mate 20 series.
Samsung delayed the release of the Galaxy Fold and did some changes to address the issues. Which was causing it to malfunction? Huawei did the same, they delayed their foldable Mate X not once but twice. First, they delayed it to September and now to November. That makes the Mate X outdated right out of the box because it has 2018 internals. But Huawei understands that and that's the reason the new Mate X. Which is supposedly releasing on November will come with 2019 internals. Which means the Kirin 990 processor the same one powering the Mate 30 Pro.
Also, it will get the camera setup of the P30 Pro vs the Mate 20 Pro's camera on the old Mate X. So in a way, it's a good thing. It has been delayed for so long. But again the question remains will you pay 2000 euros for the first generation of foldable smartphones especially. After everything that's happened to Galaxy Fold.
